Ace Painting Contractors

Terms & Conditions

Effective October 1, 2026

We want it to be clear what you can expect when you browse our website or reach out about a painting project. These terms cover use of the website; the details for any particular job are confirmed separately in writing.

Using this website

This website is here to help you learn about Ace Painting Contractors, the painting services we offer, and the areas we serve. By visiting or using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with other visitors or with the operation of the site.

We work to keep the information useful and current, but descriptions, photographs, project examples, and other content are general information. They are not a promise that every project, product, result, or schedule will be identical.

Estimates and project agreements

A message sent through the website or a conversation with our team is a starting point for discussing your project. It is not, by itself, a final estimate or an agreement to perform work. Before work begins, the project details will be confirmed in a written estimate or agreement, including the agreed scope, materials, price, payment terms, and anticipated schedule.

The written project agreement is the best place to look for the details that apply to your job. If these website terms and a signed project agreement address the same project differently, the project agreement will control to the extent permitted by law. Required consumer notices and rights continue to apply.

Project scope and changes

Painting work can depend on the condition of the surfaces, access to the property, the selected products, and the areas included in the agreed scope. If you would like to add or change work, or if site conditions call for a change, we will discuss the effect on price and timing with you and document any agreed change in writing before proceeding, as required by law.

Work that is not included in the written scope may require a separate estimate or approved change order. We will make a reasonable effort to explain options and next steps so everyone understands what is being requested and approved.

Scheduling, access, and preparation

We will coordinate an anticipated start and work schedule with you. Weather, product availability, site conditions, other trades, and circumstances outside either party’s reasonable control can affect timing. If a change becomes necessary, we will communicate with you and work toward an updated plan.

Please arrange the property access and any preparation that is assigned to you in the project agreement. Let us know about access restrictions, fragile or valuable items, pets, known hazards, and other conditions that may affect the work. Our team will take reasonable care around the work area and follow the preparation and protection steps included in the agreed scope.

Colors, materials, and existing conditions

Paint colors can look different from one screen, sample, room, or lighting condition to another. We encourage you to review physical samples in the space where the paint will be used and confirm selections before work begins. Product availability or site conditions may sometimes require a conversation about an alternative; we will seek your approval before making a material change to the agreed selection.

Older coatings, moisture, structural movement, previous repairs, and concealed damage can affect how a surface accepts paint and how a finished area performs. If we identify a condition that falls outside the agreed scope or may affect the work, we will bring it to your attention and discuss practical options before taking on additional work.

Payments, rescheduling, and cancellation

The project agreement will explain the price, payment schedule, and any other project-specific financial terms. Payments and any cancellation, rescheduling, or refund terms will be handled according to that agreement and applicable law. Nothing on this website is intended to remove a right or notice required by law.

Completion and concerns

When the work is substantially complete, we welcome a walkthrough so we can review the agreed work with you and note any items that need attention. If you have a question or concern during or after a project, please contact us with the project address and a description of the issue. We will review it with you and respond in a practical, timely manner.

Any specific workmanship warranty or product warranty will be described in the project documents or supplied by the product manufacturer. These terms do not limit any rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Website availability and outside links

We may update, improve, or temporarily suspend parts of this website as needed. We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every page will always be free of errors. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; their content and practices are managed by those sites, not by Ace Painting Contractors.

Applicable law and updates

These website terms are governed by the laws that apply in California, without changing any consumer protections that cannot be waived. We may revise these terms as our website or services change. The updated version will appear on this page with its effective date, and your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised website terms to the extent permitted by law.
