Costa Mesa, California
Mid-century homes, modern finishes.
Much of Costa Mesa was built in the 1950s and 60s, and the ranch homes in Eastside and Mesa Verde often mix stucco with wood siding, beams and wide fascia. Those mixed surfaces need different products on the same elevation, which is where a lot of repaints go wrong.
Local considerations
Stucco and wood move differently and hold paint differently. Each gets its own prep and primer so the finish ages evenly instead of splitting along the transition.
Plenty of homes here still have original wood window frames. Reglazing and sealing before paint keeps water out and makes the finish last considerably longer.
Costa Mesa has a lot of ongoing renovation. We can phase painting around other trades so you are not repainting after a contractor marks up fresh walls.
If your street isn't listed, we almost certainly still work there — give us a call and we'll confirm.
